All-on-6

All-on-6 is the same idea as All-on-4 — one fixed bridge replacing a whole jaw — with six implants instead of four. The extra anchor points spread bite load across more of the ridge, which matters when the bite is heavy or the bone is soft.

Who it suits

You are missing most or all of the teeth in one jaw
You have a strong bite, or you grind or clench
Bone density that would leave four implants working too hard
Upper jaw cases, where more support is often the safer plan

When we say no

Six implants need six viable sites. If the bone at the back of the jaw is gone, the honest plan is All-on-4 or zygomatic implants — not six implants forced into bone that cannot carry them.
More implants is not automatically a better result. If four will do the job in your jaw, paying for six buys you nothing, and we will say so.

What is the real difference between All-on-4 and All-on-6?

The number of anchor points. Six implants spread bite load across more of the ridge, which matters when the bite is heavy or the bone is soft. Six also requires six viable implant sites — if the bone at the back of the jaw is gone, four angled implants are the honest plan.

Which one will I be given?

That is decided from your X-ray or CT scan, not from preference. Dr. Hatice plans the number of implants your jaw can carry and explains why in your written plan.

Is All-on-6 automatically better than All-on-4?

No. More implants only help where the bone or the bite call for more support. If four will carry your arch, paying for six buys you nothing, and we will say so rather than sell the larger plan.

Can both jaws be treated on the same trip?

In many cases yes, and it is usually planned that way to avoid a second course of surgery. Whether it is advisable for you is set out in your plan after the scan is read.

How is the price decided?

From the scan. Implant count, extractions, any grafting and the material of the final bridge all move the figure. The quote is itemised in writing before you travel and does not change once you land.

Do I get fixed teeth the same day?

A temporary fixed bridge is fitted the same day in most cases. The permanent bridge is made and fitted on a second visit, after the implants have integrated.
